Blue Cross/Blue Shield Donates $50,000 to Sumter Regional Hospital
Posted 05/16/2007
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia recently joined the growing list of contributors to Sumter Regional Hospital's Indestructible campaign by donating $50,000 to the hospital's Foundation. The money will aid SRH with operational expenses that will help continue to provide access to healthcare in our community.

Sumter Regional Hospital is currently operating at Sumter Regional East, a 24-Hour Urgent Care facility that also provides Outpatient Services such as Radiology, Clinical Lab Services, Cardiopulmonary Services and Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy. Plans are underway to move into an Interim facility with inpatient beds and expanded services in the next few months while plans are being finalized for the damaged hospital building.
