Georgia Association of Nursing Students Raise $1000 for Sumter Regional Hospital
Posted 06/17/2007
Many people believe you can't get much for a penny these days, but don't tell that to the Georgia Association of Nursing Students or Sumter Regional Hospital.

In an effort to support SRH after it was devastated by a March 1st tornado, the nursing students held a penny war at their annual convention and raised $1000. Bradley Davis, a recent graduate who is a GANS member and local president of the Georgia Southwestern State University Nursing Students, led fellow nursing students from all across the state on a tour of the damaged hospital this past Saturday.
