SRH Employee Writes Heartfelt Letter to Family Friend Resulting in $1000 Donation
Posted 07/23/2007
As Sumter Regional Hospital continues in its recovery from a March 1st tornado, a number of organizations and individuals have donated to aid their cause.  A number of employees have also done their part, which includes asking others to help the hospital and the community.

Wade Crozier, an employee of Sumter Regional Hospital's Plant Operations department, decided to join in the effort by writing a letter to a family friend about the hospital's situation.  The heart-filled letter touched the heart of its recipient, Mr. William Rainwater of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and he responded by sending a check for $1000 to the hospital's Foundation for the recovery efforts of SRH.

Here, Crozier presents the check to SRH Foundation Director Nyla Franklin.  Franklin thanked Wade for his efforts as well as Mr. Rainwater for his donation.  If you would like to make a donation or would like to know more about Sumter Regional Hospital's Indestructible campaign, please visit www.sumterregional.org.
