Facility Status
Sumter Regional Hospital has been evacuated.   Windows Are Blown In Through Out The Hospital.  Parts of the Facility have collapsed.  This is a major problem.

Triage Now Open
The hospital has opened Sumter Regional East at 1048 E. Forsyth Street, Americus, GA 31709, at the site of the old HealthPlex parking lot.  It includes a 24-hour Urgent Care and the following Outpatient Services: Cardiopulmonary Services, Clinical Lab Services, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Radiology Services.
 
We encourage the public to utilize these servics.
